Are you ready to implement your design? Here's why you should hire an interior designer instead of doing it all yourself.

Once the design phase is complete, we move to the implementation phase whereby we work with our trade partners to complete any renovation work, as well as procure all of the furnishings and accessories on your behalf.

Sometimes the client asks us if they can implement the design themselves instead of the added investment of us doing it for them. There's various reasons why I don't recommend this.

First off, in our experience, the implementation phase goes faster when we are the ones completing it. Clients lose enthusiasm trying to keep up with all of the details, and eventually, they're trying to fit it in with everything else they have going on in life.

By hiring us they're able to spend their time with family and friends instead of on the phone with a spreadsheet.

Second, we are hired for our ability to solve problems. Everywhere along the chain of events, there is the potential for things to go awry. When this inevitably happens, they are now stuck trying to figure out a solution when they're already busy with karate and soccer practice.
